Prescott "Preskit," is Arizona's mile-high city, located in central Arizona in the nation's largest forest of Ponderosa pines. Rich in the lore of the American West, this city is internationally known as "Everybody's Hometown."

With the gentle four-season climate, Prescott is a wonderful place to relax all year long and where one can truly Get Back to Living. Natural beauty abounds, rock and mountain formations such as Thumbe Butte, the Granite Dells and Granite Mountain are nearby and the towering San Francisco Peaks of Flagstaff are easily seen. Nearby lakes such as Watson, Willow, Lynx and Goldwater, coupled with many forested trails provide ample opportunities for outdoor recreation.

The community provides excellent health care at the regional hospital located within the city limits; higher education institutions such as Yavapai College, Prescott College, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and easy access to Phoenix, one of the strongest economies in the country. Prescott's resident population is approximately 40,989, Prescott Valley 41,415 and Yavapai County has approximately 217,778 residents (AZ Office of Employment & Population Statistics 7/2015).

Western roots run deep time in July, block dancing, and Cowboy Poets are just a few of the events. Also enjoy art fairs in the town square, shopping, local dining and entertainment.
